Inclement Weather Announcement

Dear Colleague,

As bad weather conditions are expected, we want to remind you of HeartShare’s written policy regarding inclement weather.  “In the event of a weather-related situation or other emergency, it is HeartShare’s policy to follow the New York City Department of Education school closing decisions. If the Department of Education closes schools, (the mayor has already announced that schools will be closed on Wednesday March 21, 2018) then HeartShare will close,” with certain exceptions.

For Developmental Disabilities Services employees, please confirm directly with your program supervisor, who will be receiving direction from his/her Director of Programs regarding program closures.

For HSVS employees, the heads of your respective Divisions will provide direct guidance regarding program closures.

Please remain safe.  We appreciate your dedication to our agency and those whom we serve.

Thank you.

Please advise your colleagues who do not have email. Thank you.
